VENUE: The Ridge Club - Live Results
Xaverian won its first Division 1 state title in seven years at The Ridge Club, which played incredibly tough.
Chris Morrow was the low scorer for the Hawks with a 74, which was also good enough to help him get into a three-way playoff for the individual title. Luke Edgar (78) and Quinn Dumas (79) also broke 80. The Hawks were the only team with three players to break 80. No other team had two players shoot in the 70s. Antonio Cillo rounded out the scoring for Xaverian with an 82.
To highlight the depth of the Xaverian squad, they did not need a counting score from the Mass. Junior Champion Thomas Constantine, who shot 85. Constantine beat Morrow in that Mass. Junior final.

On the individual side, while the scores were high, there was plenty of drama. Morrow, Conner Henrey, and Owen Shea finished in a tie and needed a playoff to decide the champion. Morrow managed to make a par on the first playoff hole to take home the title and secure a Xaverian sweep on the day.

DIVISION 2
VENUE: Taconic GC - Results
Canton High School topped a jammed leaderboard to take home the Division 2 state championship. Beating Masconomet and Nauset by three shots.
The top 10 teams were separated by 11 shots. To put that into perspective, in Division 1 and Division 3, the champion and the third-place finisher had 11 shots between them.
On a day when razor-thin margins at Taconic GC were the order of the day, Chase Thomas (76) and Mason Wachtendonk (79) lead Canton as the only duo to shoot under 80 for any team in the championship. Teddy Shuman (84) and Harrison Weitz (85) rounded out the scoring for the Bulldogs.

Individual Results:
Sam Pieczynski (Tantasqua) edged out Zac Georgantas (Foxborough CC) and Cooper Stowell (Wayland High School).
He had a wild ride around Taconic. He shot 34 (-1) on the front nine and then got to 3-under par with an eagle on the tenth hole. However, he made a bogey on the 11th hole and a triple bogey on the 12th hole. A birdie on the 14th steadied the ship, as he played the final six holes in even par to sign for a 72.

DIVISION 3
VENUE: Blissful Meadows - Results (GG ID: twdfc5)
DATE: Monday, October 27
Old Rochester held off defending champion Ayer Shirley at Blissful Meadows. The Bulldogs were led to the title by a pair of 77s from Jack Czerkowicz and Luke Pierre. They were the only team with two players to break 80. Brady Mills (83) and John Bongiorno (86) rounded out the scoring.

Individual Results:
Aidan Connell, a sophomore from Seekonk arrived as an individual performer and left with the Division 3 trophy. Connell earned his spot in the state championship with a 77 at Foxborough CC in sectionals and took full advantage of the opportunity. He carded an eagle on the par-5 8th hole and one more birdie on the par-4 12th did the trick for Connell.

New England Interscholastic High School Boys’ Championship
Robby Rosati finished off an impressive high school career with one more victory at Mohegan Sun. It looked like a sure thing, and then it was suddenly slipping through his fingertips. A double bogey on the 18th hole dropped him into a three-way tie with Jack Quinn (Maine) and Grey Gagnon (New Hampshire). He managed to take home the win in the playoff. Results

New England Interscholastic High School Girls’ Championship
Maddie Smith (Westford, Mass.) cruised to a New England title at Mohegan Sun. She carded three birdies and an eagle against two bogeys. The eagle came on the par-4 sixth hole, which was her 11th hole of the round after starting on 14. It put her under par for the first time on the day, and she never looked back. Rhode Island’s Adrianna Eaton hung with Smith for the opening stretch, but a triple bogey on the first hole, her sixth hole, left her chasing the rest of the day. She finished in second along with New Hampshire’s Madelyn Savary. Results
