Molly Smith has climbed to her highest ranking ever in the World Amateur Golf Rankings (WAGR); she is currently ranked 136th.

The Westford native had a strong junior spring season with the University of Central Florida. She recorded two top-10 finishes and an 11th-place finish, too. Her team reached the NCAA Regionals but had a disappointing showing, which led to them missing a chance to play in the National Championship.

Over the course of the summer, Smith has played in the Women’s Amateur, the Western Women’s Amateur, and the Women’s Canadian Amateur.

“This summer I was a little bit more selective with how I scheduled myself,” she said. “A lot of high-quality tournaments, but never going back to back."
