What's next for Chris Francoeur + Shining Rock's new playing fee
It’s time for another small bucket. Two stories I’m looking at today - Chris Francoeur’s Q-School performance and a new fee at Shining Rock after new ownership steps in.
Chris Francoeur plays “Biggest Tournament I’ve ever played,” with a heavy heart.
Chris Franoceur finished T62 in the Final Stage of Q-School this weekend. He had a very steady first two rounds of 67 and 68 with just one bogey across the opening 36 holes.
However, a Saturday score of 75 sent him tumbling down the leaderboard with four bogeys and a double bogey.
Sunday was a much better day for Francoeur; he shot 68 (-2) with five birdies. A good sign that he had bounced back. The goal on Sunday was probably to climb back into the top 40, which would have given him some significant opportunities on the Korn Ferry Tour. The top 25 earn more starts on KFT, too.
