Cadillac Championship: Cameron Young shot 19-under par and beat Scottie Scheffler by six shots for his second win of the year. Keegan Bradley 72-73-69-71 (-3) to finish T49. Michael Thorbjornsen shot 74-71-69-72 (-2) for a T53 finish. | Results
Riviera Maya Open: Nelly Korda won her second straight event. It was another walk in the park for Korda who won by four shots over Arpichaya Yubol. Alexa Pano shot 74-69-76-68 (-1) and finished T35. | Results
U.S. Women’s Four-Ball: Maya Palanza-Gaudin (E. Falmouth, Mass.) and her partner Alexa Phung shot 75-67 (-2) and missed out on match play by a single shot. Shannon Johnson and Megan Buck shot 75-73 (+4) and also missed the cut. | Scoring
Big East Men’s Championship: UConn finished fourth, and Providence finished 11th. Xavier won by four shots over Marquette. Results
UConn: Matt Costello (Taunton, Mass.) shot 71-68-75 (-2) and finished T15th
St. John’s: Max McColgan (Lincoln, Mass.) shot 73-71-71 (-1) and finished 17th. St. John’s finished 6th.
Georgetown: Carson Erick (Hingham, Mass.) shot 71-70-71 (-4) and finished T9. Alan Rose III (Weston, Mass.) shot 77-80-70 (+11) and finished T47. CJ Winchenbaugh (Weston, Mass.) 77-70-83 (+14) to finish T49. The Hoyas finished T7 as a team.
Providence: Will Spring (Concord, Mass.) 80-74-76 (+14) and finished T49. and Evan Buddenhagan (Gloucester, Mass.) shot 81-83-80 (+28) and finished 52nd.
NESCAC Women’s Championship: Amherst won the team title by one shot over Middlebury and two shots over Williams in a tight battle. Amherst’s two-sport star Mekhala Costello (Canton, Mass.) won the individual championship with rounds of 75-68-76. Costello, a sophomore, plays only in the spring because she is also on the soccer team. | Results

Giles Invitational: The Mid-Amateur event at Kinloch drew a talented field. Nick Maccario shot 77-76 (+9) and missed the cut. Brett Patterson won the tournament with a 7-under par total. MidAmHQ has a recap of the event. | Results
Computer Merchant: In the U.S. Challenge Cup at Wintonbury Hills (Bloomfield, Conn.), Robby Rosati (Stratford, NH) shot 68-70 (-2) to beat Grey Gagnon (Portsmouth, NH) and Zach Nelson (Concord, NH) by a shot. Jack Cheever (Dedham, Mass) shot two rounds of 70 (E) to win the boys 14-and-under Division over Nolan Leonard (W. Hartford, Conn.) by a shot. In the Girls Division, Skylar Kotzen (Wellesley, Mass.) shot 73-73 (+6) to beat Teresa Esposito (North Haven, Conn.) by three. | Results

Mixed Four-Ball for the Stone Cup: Willowbend is the host course for this one-day event on May 7. A few readers are in the field! Conor McCormack is teaming up with his fellow Woodland GC member Alexis Florio. Florio reached the semi-final of the Mass. Women’s Amateur last year. Pamela Kuong and Doug Clapp are in the field and have won this event twice (2020 and 2023).
Division 2 Regionals: Victoria Veator (Bridgewater, Mass.) is competing for Flagler College (St. Augustine, Fla.) in the D2 South Regional from May 4-6. The top five teams in each region will reach the National Championship. Live Scoring
